The Team

Breanne Goraluk
Location: Russell
Growing up, I always had an interest in talking to people and helping them. This helped me to choose psychiatric nursing as my career path. I graduated from Brandon University in May 2014 then started working in an acute psychiatric unit. Soon after I started my career as a mental health resource nurse- I helped elderly individuals in the care home with mental health issues and dementia. Working with family was a huge part of my job to provide support during this challenging season. Providing support to the hospital and emergency department was another role- this gave me the experience to work through crisis situations, suicidal patients and mental health issues. Working with these populations showed me how much of a need there is for further mental health services and that’s how Instil Hope Counselling was born. I look forward to meeting with you and working together to help you live a more content life. My goal is help you learn new coping strategies and foster resilience and hope.

Cara Zaharychuk
Location: Melita
I was born and raised in Melita Manitoba and I’ve always loved helping people, especially kids! I completed my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Manitoba in 2006 and then my Masters in Counselling Psychology at Athabasca University in 2016. I’ve spent the past ten years working with kids ages 5-18 within the school system and I am ready and looking forward to branching out and working with adults as well.
Both my Degree and Masters were completed via online and distance learning due to living in a rural location. Living in rural Manitoba has many wonderful benefits but access to some resources are limited, I am extremely excited and proud to be offering this valuable service in the rural community that I have called home for 46 years!
Cara specializes in anxiety, anger issues, social skills, depression, conflict resolution, communication skills, and body image.
Cara is available for in person & virtual sessions, and primarily works with children and youth but is available for all ages.
